APNA is almost one year old and it’s time to elect officers for the coming year! The positions and a brief description of their duties are below:
President – represents APNA and coordinates meetings and activities
First Vice-President – serves as a backup for the President and assists with duties
Second Vice-President – reviews membership applications for eligibility and maintains the membership records
Treasurer – maintains and reports on the financial records of APNA
Secretary – records the meeting minutes

Since we are a small and informal organization, the board members just jump in and help each other out, and I would expect the next board to do the same. It’s a great opportunity to make a difference in the neighborhood and it’s good for your resume!
Also at the meeting will be representatives from Capital Metro who will provide information and answer questions on current initiatives and service. As always, we’ll have an overview of the status of various APNA activities.
